News - Friday Lunchtime Organ Recitals 2011

Following the success of previous years' series of organ recitals at Morpeth Methodist Church on Howard Terrace a new series is being arranged for 2011.

As last time the concerts will start at 12.30pm on Friday lunchtimes, and last for about an hour.

Opening the series on Friday 8^th April will be David Phillips, from Newcastle

Later in the series, organists will include:

Friday 6^th May Michael Haynes (Hexham Abbey)

Friday 3^rd June Paul Ritchie (Organist Emeritus, St George's Cullercoats)

Friday 15^th July Peter Locke (St Dominic's Priory)

Friday 9^th September Shaun Turnbull (St George's, Cullercoats)

Free Admission
Light refreshments will be available after the concert
