News - Organ Recitals 2010

Following the success of previous years' series of organ recitals at Morpeth Methodist Church on Howard Terrace a new series is being arranged for 2010.

As last time the concerts will start at 12.30pm on Friday lunchtimes, and last for about an hour.

Opening the series on Friday 7^th May will be Michael Stoddart, Director of Music Newcastle Cathedral

Later in the series, organists will include:

Friday 18^th June Alex Woodrow Assistant Organist, Hexham Abbey
Friday 30^th July Katy McDermott Organ Scholar, Worcester College, Oxford
Friday 27^th August David Stevens Assistant Organist, Newcastle Cathedral
Friday 24^th September Phillip Mills Organist, St James URC Newcastle

Admission Free
Light refreshments will be available after the concert at 1.30pm
